Our Story (Short Version)

The Academy was formed by Jordan Moffett who in recent years coached at various different local clubs in the town. Jordan believes that everyone no matter what level of ability, race, religion or background should be able to participate in football sessions and should not be refused! The youth football club offers opportunities to young people aged 4-18 years old and as now planned for U18s,U19s,U20s,U21, Reserve and Senior Squads as part of the new player transition programme.

Our Short Story

East-End Youth Football Club is on its way back in local football. This famous club with a rich history is joining JM Academy in Re-Launching East-End Youth F.C. JM Academy founded by Jordan Moffett in 2017 has a forever growing club and feedback from parents state that it’s a well organised organisation. East-End Youth F.C is the oldest youth football club in Coleraine, founded 26 years ago is on its way back after an absence of 11 years. East-End over the years has had a incredible record of success and has brought back many titles to the Borough of Coleraine, including two trophies from Holland in 1997. The club has also won the St. Andrews International Tournament and lifted the leading goal scorer and player of the tournament to complete a clean sweep in Scotland in the year 2000. Teams from the club also participated each year in the Foyle Cup and won the U16 Plate in 1997 to be the highest placed team from Ireland that year.

Our Vision

Our vision is for East-End Youths to be the focus for inclusive, safe, top quality and successful football development in the local community and to increase participation and improvement in the sport at all levels and thereby encourage good health, well being and citizenship. We want to provide a professional identity and standing within the Town and continue to build on the strong relationships within the community enabling us to provide football for a wider range of people living in and around the town of Coleraine.

The secret of success

The club draws the vast majority of its members from the local community Ballysally, and a local point for club members where training, matches, meetings and presentations can be held would significantly contribute to the longevity of the club, its membership, secure it’s identity and local standing within the town. This will also enable us to run more sporting initiatives and regular/scheduled events that will develop children’s sport/activities and bring recognition to the town. It will also provide a mechanism to showcase the clubs sporting achievements.
